{"id":14,"date":"2012-04-13T09:57:35","date_gmt":"2012-04-13T09:57:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ebulletin.aua.am\/?p=14"},"modified":"2013-11-18T15:09:58","modified_gmt":"2013-11-18T11:09:58","slug":"sbm-and-psia-announce-academic-appointment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ebulletin.aua.am\/sbm-and-psia-announce-academic-appointment\/","title":{"rendered":"SBM and PSIA Announce Academic Appointment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The School of Business and Management (SBM) and the School of Political Science and International Affairs (PSIA) are pleased to announce that based on the recommendation of their joint faculty search committee, Dr. Aleksandr Grigoryan has been appointed as Assistant Professor of Economics.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ebulletin.aua.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/Aleksander.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-106 alignleft\" style=\"margin-left: 10px; margin-right: 10px;\" title=\"Aleksander\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/ebulletin.aua.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/Aleksander.jpg\" width=\"129\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a>Dr. Grigoryan has been teaching Microeconomics and Macroeconomics at PSIA since 2010. With this appointment, he will also teach courses such as Managerial Economics, Economic Development and International Economics in the MBA program. Prior to joining AUA on a full-time basis, Dr. Grigoryan worked as a Senior Researcher at the Central Bank of Armenia for three years. Previously, he worked as an analyst at the Ministry of Economy for two years. Dr. \u00a0Grigoryan received his PhD from the University of Turin, Italy. He holds a distinguished master\u2019s degree from the Institute for Advanced Studies of Vienna, Austria, and a master\u2019s degree from Yerevan State Institute of Economics.
